Please join us for a special event at the Haig Point Clubhouse for our conservancy members and their guests and enjoy a cocktail hour at 6pm with a presentation by Bluffton Oyster Company owners, Larry & Linda Toomer. Specializing in local fresh fish, they will talk about the three courses of “small plates” of local fish that Chef Taylor will prepare. The Bluffton Oyster Company, located on the May River in Bluffton, was founded 67 years ago by Mr. Toomer’s grandfather, passed on to his father Larry and subsequently to Larry Toomer, the grandson.
Chef Taylor will make a presentation as the dinner is served on the preparation of the fish as well as the farm to table accompanying offerings with each course. Attendees will have the choice of Chef Taylor’s wine pairings for each course if desired.
The event is limited to forty Conservancy members and their guests. Cost will be as follows: (non Haig Point members can pay by credit card)
Dinner: $60 per person
Dinner & Wine Pairing: $100 per person
